What about you?

Once upon a time, I had a great amount of respect for the human race.I thought surely we all had a certain level of intelligence that mad us human, but now well now I do not.
I have lived long enough on the planet to see despicable things, I feel great pity for the few amount that actually use their brains to think. It is awfully difficult and suffocating to be surrounded by the rest of the population that does not.If you take offense in this post, plz move along. It clearly wasn't intended to be read by you.

i don't even know what the if-you-see-kay you're talking about.

@sighmeupforthat: How very kind of you 😂.I have never had prunes before what do they taste like?

You are pretty much on point here. Truth is we can behave all civilized and well mannered species but deep down we are also animals. And we also go by the rule of survival of the powerful. One life survives by feeding on to other lives whether animals or plants. So it doesn't matter how much knowledge we have to co-exist and even to save other lives, we would always be tied to our basic animalistic nature. And we are just more dangerous species when you combine all that knowledge and our nature to just not to survive but to overpower other species.
I don't know what the hell i am talking about..lol... we are all messed up.

About me?

I'm gonna make a nice hot drink before I go to bed and dream of candy floss clouds.

I think most people want to do good, but are too stupid to know how
Pureblossom · 22-25, F
@Dolimyte: Perhaps 🤔 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I feel like humans just don't combine that well with each other. Like individually, almost everyone has strong points and redeeming qualities but in groups we tend to be angrier and dumber. Our whole is less than the sum of our parts, basically.
Pureblossom · 22-25, F
@KingofPizza: Interesting perspective I hadn't thought of it that way, you be on to something there.
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
@Pureblossom: I think part of it is how like people's interests can be so divergent. Like someone can be super into, say cooking, and someone else can love animals, but... there's not a lot of common ground there so when they meet they end up discussing the Kardashians or the weather.

Respect is only worthy to give to those that give it to you , as far as intelligence goes there are few that grasp Understanding and use Wisdom , and seems most human to err from time to time hence we are at Gods Mercy like grumbling fools , but it seems God has Hope for Mankind only we find it hard to perceive

I didn't take an offense.
I'm not offended, just sad that you already see this at 18-21. I saw the end of Jim Crow, the Civil Rights movement, Vietnam War, Watergate and was deluded enough to think my generation might be the one to fix things. I wasn't totally disillusioned until about age 30. I can't imagine what I'd think if were coming of age now. 😞

@Experienced33: I assume you are talking to yourself if that's the case well done for the observation. The first step is admitting it.👍
