@Coyotedave611: Death is a part of our lives, we cannot escape it. Some of us die young and some die older. I'm guessing he was born in 84 so he was about 33 when he passed.

@VioletBreeze: We talked about his illness at length, he didn't really want to dwell on it, but the NOT knowing was killing me, and I think he needed to get it out in the open, we weren't religious, but both very spiritual in the way we were. This photo is from when he spent two weeks at a monestery where he studied with monks. He was ready to go at the end..."Brit" (his sister) says she swore he was smiling at his last breath. His therapy dog mourned for weeks, but Brit found another fireman and the two of them hit it off immediately so that made me happy. Joseph was the best man I have ever known in my life. We shared a "love" people don't understand. Thanks for a lovely post hon!

My name is Ricki and I only knew him from ep but because we both been friends there, you told me a lot about him and I'm sad that you've lost your love. The only consolation is that we all might meet in a happier place again.

Germany, not sure what you hear on the news. Things are getting worse here. Not for me but for many. I'm fit enough to work.

See above. Sad thing is most ofthe studies have been in Cuba and other "3rd" world countries. Not much money to be made in the USA. Makes me furious.
