how do you get a screen shot of your desk top to show others ?

The print screen button. Then ya open paint and hit Ctrl + V. Then you save it and tada.

It depends on your keyboard, but you hit print screen (and possibly another key with it, if needed). Then you have the screenshot copied and can paste it.

After hitting Printscreen, it should be on your clipboard. Save that as a JPG file.

you need to paste it somewhere. Paint is easier. then you save it

Rather use snipping tool. All windows has it by default, and cut the area you want. You can save the pic and send. Don't use print screen. It reveals unnecessary and sometimes private info to others.

then paste into your favorite image program... whatnot things and stuff then save.

Do you have a mobile phone, take a picture on that and mail it to yourself..
