Fathers, mothers.... Parents...

Let's talk about children and all they involve.
Are you ever so happy to have those children and proud of their roles they fill in this world?

I wasn’t prepared to be a father. Too much fun with the party lifestyle and selfish with my time with friends. But overnight, it was like my calling. To be the best father I could be. 20 years later, I have no regrets at all. It gave my life purpose.

I raised my children with high hopes they'd have better lives than I did and would make better choices. It's worked out quite well...for the main part. lol

@SW-User We try to do the best we can right? Thats all we can do

@LunarOrbit Agreed. Leading by example works well... either a good or bad example, they learn from it! lol

Well they’re still pretty young but they behave and they seem pretty happy. So it’s all good.
Well the children in my family are being taught to be racist, sexist homophobes. So no I'm not proud of them. Or the parents who taught them.

@canusernamebemyusername Are you the parent?
@SW-User No. I'm the black sheep that isn't the racist homophobe of the family.
My parents suffered too much in their job as parents so I decided I never wanted to be a mother

Its lonely. But it was my decision and my karma.

I'm a free lance hardbackchair philosopher
