I don't like the Pride slogan "Love is love".

Some LGBTQ people are not in love. Some don't even want to be in love. I think it implies that LGBTQ lives are only acceptable if they are in or seeking a loving relationship.
New suggested Pride slogan: "Mind ya damn business."
I don’t agree at all, baby. But I understand what you’re getting at. In my humble opinion, if I am in love (assuming I am,) then my love is no less valid a love simply because I am a woman that loves a woman. It’s not that any orientation has a lock on love but more so that my love is no less valid because it doesn’t assign to the orientation gender roles society has tried to make for me.

@DarkHeaven but how about for people who do present in a way that identifies them as LGBTQ?
@PoizonApple It’s hard question, because outside of gender assignment, only your sexual activity identifies you. What is acting gay? It’s nothing. We’ve had fem straight guys and butch straight gals, all through history. You’re only LGB... if you are attracted, want to have sex with, and are romantically in love with your same gender. It’s all about love, or the act of making love at least. Gender assignment is very different. The love is love, is less applicable. Their issues are very different and much more difficult in my opinion. There is less understanding and acceptance, even within the LGTBQ community. I have many friends here that are trans, and I’m known as a Cis Lesbian ally, because there aren’t that many. It really fucking sickens me. We should be better. We’ve had to fight for acceptance and we should know better. Love is love could, kind of apply, as in loving each other and then it fits for all. Love sees no birth assigned gender, no hetero assigned birth roles. We can just love each other... regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, or assigned gender. Because love is love, baby. Period.

I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in people's sexual orientation. Surely that's their business and their partner's.
I think this is only a conclusion someone can arrive at if they're going out of their way to be offended about something.
@PoizonApple All i know is what you've posted here.
