Why is that most people in my age range are getting engaged, married or having kids?

Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy for them I I feel like I’m not going anywhere in my life. One of my friends is engaged and is getting married next year. I am of course happy for her but my best friend is like, “It seems like everyone is getting engaged but me!” I know she was kidding and is happy for her too. Anyways she is 27 like I am. Some people I know have kids or getting married. One girl I knew from high school got married last year and she was 26. My other friend he is 37 and finally getting married. He has a daughter who is 3. My second older brother is getting married later this year and he’s 30. My boyfriend well ex boyfriend dumped me for another girl. Now I’m 27, single and hopelessly in love. Every relationship I have just never works out. I got dumped three times because they found out I have autism.....well have Asperger’s Syndrome. 😔😔
My ex and I were together for three months.

I personally think this is a problem Americans face. Americans are always in a hurry. For what? In a hurry to grow up to work to pay bills. In a hurry to hurry up and settle down and get married and have three kids at the measly age of 25. You’re supposed to be enjoying your life and going out.

And people wonder why divorce rates are so high. I don’t keep up with the joneses

Don’t worry about what others are doing.
They’re on their life journeys, you’re on yours !

There’s plenty of good experiences out there just waiting for you.
They’ll just be taking a while to find you because you’re stuck watching everybody else !

Everyone I know is either married or about to get married at this point. My sister and I are the only ones who haven't. I mean I wanted to get married at one point but things didn't work out. I do feel alone but I feel it's better that way for me.

Its a choice they make

I'm sure you will find someone who can enjoy you for everything that you are, and how beautiful every part of you is. Sorry to hear these people have chosen to leave a relationship with you over things like that alone.

@SW-User I don’t think I ever well
What blows me away is when someone barely out of college buys a house with their own money.

@LeopoldBloom yeah that is mind blowing
@ElizabethBabe1994 One of my friends just did that. It's not like she has a high-paying job, either. I didn't buy a house until I was 40. But then, at her age I was working overseas. I could have gotten land free of charge from the local government if I had committed to building a house on it.

Humans like to do thing those things when they get into their 20s.
