Well that's stupid apparently because i havent been to the doctors in 3+ years im no longer in their system and it will take months to get me in

Screw that noise I'm annoyed as hell right now. It would take til August to get me in as a new patient they said

I'll bet you they still claim an allowance from the government, you being registered as one of their patients every year !

Call them back and say that's unacceptable.

If they give you any static tell them that should your problem deteriorate and require emergency room treatment, you'll be sure to let them know the reason you had no choice but to visit the emergency room was because this person refused to book you an appointment at a time when a preventative consult might have avoided the whole issue.

@Picklebobble2 My mom actually called them to see if she could get me in and was told the same thing. She pretty much told them to go pound sand.

@TempuraShrimp Then cut out the middle man and go straight to the emergency room.

Doctors surgeries like to create all kinds of in house rules but if you're a registered patient at that surgery they have no legal grounds to reject your request unless you're somebody who abuses their appointments system.
