If Money did not exsist and

Everything was done using the barter system how would you live? What would be your skill? Do you think that you would like it more or less?
Would people be more or less driven to work and own things?

I am able exist this way somewhat. I make holistic edibles in exchange for massage, also for a bit of personal training at the gym. I walk my friends dog while hes at work and make dog treats in exchange for weed. I grow weed and shrooms and make my own oil for edibles and to sell.

I would be a cook/baker, medicine woman and animal caretaker. But i can also hunt and build and forage.

I would love to live in a barter system. Capitalism is so money oriented its ruining humanity.

@Paintedfox I love your skill set. I think that humans are caught in a strange place today of either being disastrously idle or working their life away to pay for shit that we dont need.
We would know ourselves and our neighbors more if we had to live that way.

@REMsleep It would be so great 🖤 I am definitely completely lost in the real world. I feel disconnected and out of place in society. I havent worked in 1.5 years but Ive found ways to make it by. Its interesting and Ive learned that kindness gets you exactly what you need 🖤

That's pretty much the way i live now , i work for a landscape co. that also does firewood and snow removal ,my boss owns the farm i live on in exchange for working at whatever job needs doing on a given day.I live with my boss i pay no rent utilities or food .I also have stuff to do on the farm. I get a small salary but i can get by with no money.I love it.

@kodiac Nice. I had a dream to live kinda more free from corporate jobs and offer someone a job in exchange for housing. I am close. Are you ever worried about your future financially or do you think that you have time to figure it out as you go?
