@CestManan haha but Ford has improved so much!

@NoGamesTolerated Well, I have heard that. Supposedly some of their new vehicles compete with Toyota and Honda for dependability. I don't really believe that. I would still choose Honda or Toyota.
One thing people forget about dependability - Most new cars are. If buying used though, THAT is when it comes into question.

@CestManan They had to. So many Americans (myself included) bought only Japanese made cars (Toyota and Honda) for better quality and definitely dependability.
Believe it or not... it’s true. I have connections. And new cars are NO guarantee! They’ve left many stranded.

@NoGamesTolerated Ford sure as heck had a LOT of room for improvement..... and now that they are getting rid of cars , that may be plus for them...lol.

@NoGamesTolerated American cars have generally gotten better but they still have a sad history.
I understand about new cars too.
I think though with Japanese cars, less things randomly just break.

@heavyone2 Getting rid of? Dunno about that but they have improved tremendously.

@CestManan I have driven Ja pan cars a long time. 🤩

@NoGamesTolerated I have for close to five years. One is some 25 year old Corolla and my other car is a slightly newer civic.
I think the Corolla will rust away before it dies.

@G00GLE Pick California. Everyone is desperately dependent on their car here. People write love songs about cars. Ownership of a car often outlasts a typical marriage here.
