Is there wild animals in the Utah desert? Is it safe to be stranded there in the dark?

That's my worst fear. I been told horrible stories of such situations in Arabic deserts about encounters with wild animals which ended with people being eaten and stuff 馃槸

Mountain lions, rattlesnakes, mean evil pigs, occasional bear, spiders, scorpions... I'd spend a month camping there.馃槉

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether I don't live Utah, and haven't been there, but maybe soon I can get my 4x4 out there. I would love to spend time wandering around there. I live near the Mohave, also very cool in it's own right.馃槉
