Do you delete responses

To your posts that you don't like? Sometimes people can be unnecessarily rude or mean. But I leave them

I think its bullshit! You shouldnt be able to delete other peoples stuff.... Rather leave it there and name and shame them if its something ugly... If its just a different opinion then let others read it and either agree or not! Thats one of the main reasons for this places existence!

I'm totally for differences of opinions, as long as it's on topic. But often times, when people feel at the losing end of a discussion/debate, whatever, they will make rude or vulgar attracts completely off topic. It's insulting and uncalled for

Last night was the first time I've ever had a rude comment on one of my threads. I guess I have been lucky. I left the comment and responded appropriately. Chalk it up to some people being miserable asses and move on. Don't let it rain on your parade. 😊

Not yet. I'd be a hypocrite if I did. I'm all for free speech, even if I disagree with what gets said. The only time I'd ever consider it is if a very vulgar image was posted as a response, and even then I'd be doing that for the sake of others.

I have left some pretty nasty, personal attacks on me on a few of my threads for the sake of authenticity to the post. And, really it was also to allow others to see the ugly character of this particular member.

I used to leave them. But then I figured, why should I, if it's rude or nasty ? If it's a dissenting opinion that is civil, I will generally let it stand.
