Do you subscribe to the notion of "give and take"?

I had a friend who told me ... the world is full of two kinds of people: givers and takers. And sadly, I think she's right 😌

I bought him a birthday card and killed myself to get a voucher so he could purchase the massager I had that he loved. My birthday 2 months later and nothing. In fact I didn't see him all that week.

He came to mine had dinner, I ordered takeaway and he never returned the favour.

Just before Xmas I started to call time on us but he tried to persuade me to stay. I stayed until March this year. He took me to a bar in February but not valentines day, why? Because I said I was done...

When we were out he snapped at me to buy him a drink because he had finished and I hadn't realised, as I was still sipping my drink.

People always say I'm mean but actually the things I've put up with I didn't deserve.

there are takers and givers. i am a giver. i try to not feel cheated because there are always going to be those people who never give their fair share

I try not to give anymore , because people see it as a weakness .You give them an inch and they take a mile and the royal piss .I got sick of being treated like some sort of mug . If you dont believe me set up a monthly direct debit to a charity and I gaurantee within in weeks you will be inundated with begging letters from other charities its a farce .
