RELIGION IN EUROPE: Is Germany traditionally/historically more Catholic or Protestant?

Largely Protestant I think except for Bavaria which is mad Catholic, Hitler grew up in Bavaria and he was mad Catholic.

It is traditionally more Catholic - especially in Bavaria. 🙂
