It was kinda cool going, selecting then coming home to watch.. just not the same flicking through a list online

Totally! and instead of DVD or blue ray, it can just be a code they give you. Something you could have very well done online anyways, but you are THERE, after all, for the EXPERIENCE of selecting your movie from a cardboard display catalogue on a physical shelf all while buying over priced junk food. ;) Nostalgia indeed!

I kind of miss browsing through the movies and picking one or two out to watch over the weekend.

I wonder how many DVD's were rented and never returned. I'll bet some are still around.
