What's the most that u paid for a taxi?

Well, not sure about the most, but I know the 'least'...I've only been in a taxi a few times, but during the last one, I had been picked up at the hospital. I didn't have my wallet/purse on me, as I had been taken by ambulance. So as I arrive at the house, I say, 'Let me go in and get the fare..' And he replied, 'No , it's ok.' I said, 'NO it's ok It'll only take a minute..' and he insisted, 'No, no no it's ok.' I was so grateful, and just couldn't believe it really. He was very kind to let me not only not pay a tip, but not pay the FARE too. There ARE good people out there.

Something like 8€ but split it with my friends, it was definitely not worth it as he was a nutcase and in the end he said "it's 8€ but make it 10 with the tip" and I was like oh you think so?
