Good Morning! From a nearby country, here to celebrate my mother´s 92nd birthday.

I was going to say have a blessed day to you as well
But if you still have Mom with you at 92
and she still knows who you are
I am sure you're day will be a very blessed one .
Both of my parents only made it to 70
and I took excellent care of them to see they had quality of life as long as I had a say so over it ,
So yea ,,spoil her Brother
my Mom was a pain in my rear ,,but if I had it to do over again
I would spoil her even more ,
I miss Mom and Dad a lot
So wishing both of you a very happy Day

@CharlieZ I know of a city in California ,,
The residents are over 100 and still drive ,go for daily walks
One doctor there was doing heart surgery at 96 ..after putting up his own privacy fence that would have killed me .my back is shot .
My pastor is in his 70's and can ride a bike hundreds of miles in a day
and he and others I know do it consistently ,and all over the world .
More then likely you have heard of the group I am speaking of
they live in the only "Blue Zone" in the USA
Its my understanding there are only like 3 of them in the world
And its not just being a vegetarian ,its their faith ,the observance of the Sabbath ,,they are "proof if you will "
There is way more to it then what you eat ,it also has a lot to do with you're inner peace ,exercise ,fellowship ,and peace of mind that comes from being a part of something way bigger then you are .
Or so they say ,,and now people are taking notes
They have only been preaching the message since 1844
Though some of their predecessors did take some of their beliefs just a little to far
But considering they own some of the best hospitals in the world
They are still learning ,and sharing as they go
I won't knock them .they proof is in the pudding .
Our pastor is from Ireland ,his Mom was killed in a terror attack on a train there when he was a boy ,so he was not raised that way .
but he is a wise man ,someone shared something with him that changed his life .
My grandpa was 3 months of being 100 ..he was working in his orange grove just hours before he died ..
I was not raised like they were either ,,and I believe our life styles have greatly reduced our longevity ,as opposed to my relatives just a few generations ago ,unlike most men who died in their 40's ,50's they lived past 100 and still enjoyed working .
In my Dads family ,many of them lived to be that old
Our quest to have a more modern ,and easy life ,I think has cost us
People live longer per say ..but are they living ,or just existing ?
