True or False: When there are no consequences is the only time you'll see how people really are?

DragonFruit · 61-69, M
False...you can see who they really are when the consequences are the greatest.
Budwick · 70-79, M
False.

Example - Re-entering a burning building means almost certain death -
But you know someone is still in there.
We learn a lot about the person that takes the risk and goes back in.

Another example - A police officer arrives at a school with an active shooter inside. The officer waits for backup to go in.
We learn a lot about the person that refuses the risk and stays out of harms way.

Goes both ways. We aren't the consequence police, those things tend to take care of themselves, eventually.

there's no such thing as "no consequences"

False. There are some people who don’t care about consequences, or are willing to risk them.
