But you know someone is still in there.
We learn a lot about the person that takes the risk and goes back in.


Another example - A police officer arrives at a school with an active shooter inside. The officer waits for backup to go in.
We learn a lot about the person that refuses the risk and stays out of harms way.

Goes both ways. We aren't the consequence police, those things tend to take care of themselves, eventually.
