Whatever you do, keep any and all silver and gold certificate banknotes, those things are worth serious scratch. I know an idiot back in 2004 that found some that were worth $12,000 face value but worth much much more, but still only traded face value for current cash. Those notes were pristine, near mint condition, he could have easily gotten ten to fifteen times what he got. His inlaws called him Dumb Donald for a reason.

@NativeOregonian I didn't know they were worth that much. My uncle gave me them years ago. I forgot I had them.

@Astro Depending on condition, denomination, and print year, they can be worth a lot.

Blue seal is a Silver certificate if I remember correctly.
