when do you think you can see if people are true assholes?

When you tell them no, I'm afraid I can't give you what you want or do what you want me to do. That's when a person's true character comes out. I saw (or rather I heard) this all the time when I worked in customer service. Some people just can't (or won't) take no for an answer.
