Whats a goth?

@popmol hi-tempo music with screaming lyrics full of angst, emotional teenagers with suicidal thoughts embracing darkness, antidisestablishmentarianism and sometimes associated with Satanism. popularised nose rings collars and pale makeup with exaggerated black eyeliner perhaps spider web on cheek big fad in eighties

@popmol Well, goths had that whole vibe going. It was a combination of fashion trend and horror, black lipstick, white skin, spikes and dog collars, weird and painful looking piercings, and a slavish love of all things Halloweeny.

@popmol A bunch of German cathedral architects in the 16 and 17 hundreds.

The term Gothic was given to the style by a bunch of French and Italians who looked at Germans and Eastern Euros as backwater hicks and barbarians so called it " Gothic' as an slight against it. Basically the name " Gothic" was meant as uncivilised.
