Many people want to maintain the status quo

Peaceful · F
Which means fitting in and conforming. Fuck that.
Peaceful · F
@dark548 that would mean autonomy.
dark548 · M
@Peaceful self reflective critical thinker. That is dangerous lol

@dark548 then you will re-read what I shared.

If the status quo works for them, it makes sense that they want to maintain it.
dark548 · M
@SW-User it doesn't work for me
dark548 · M
@SW-User their status quo inhibits me. So what are we to do? I'm willing to meet in the middle I'd be cool with that
SW-User
Specify what the status quo is.
dark548 · M
@SW-User me being the insecure non assertive guy. The depressed non joyous guy. Non social.

@dark548 🤷‍♀️ Then don’t be....
dark548 · M
@SW-User It's hard and takes time but thanks

Yup, it works for many of them. As long as they are truly certain that is where they desire to be.
I don't want (or need) anyone or any society influencing how or what or where I should be taking my life. I am too free-spirited to be controlled anyway lol.
It's no surprise, really...considering the number of people silently hoping (often in vain) they'll get their turn to evade taxes too before the door's shut.
