Home made fries anyone?

Yum I just made homemade fries! Peeled the potatoes, boiled them for 9 mins, then dried and fried them. Then added salt 😁😀😀 I learned from Gordon Ramsay to boil the potatoes before frying, way better than McDonald's artificial sh$@😂😋
Make either of these?[image deleted]
Tater tots or Potato croquettes?
@soar2newhighs Do you put it directly above the pot? This is my second week of being a vegetarian. I feel so much better
Take a sort of deep pan, place steamer in it, pour in some water and turn on the heat. Keep an eye on the water, as you may need to refresh it periodically. Be careful, too, steam cooking is good but that steam can burn you if you're not careful. @RadiantRuby
Here's a dish-it contains fresh fruits, granola(s) I use 2 in this dish, and van
vanilla yogurt,.@RadiantRuby And this beauty is "Corn Mush"[image deleted]

Yes much better , you call them fries we call them chips here in UK , try little bit of vinegar on them with salt
@Nyloncapes That is because anything with the word French in it, won't fly in UK. 😄
@UreBesFrend I wonder what they call French Toast,
@RadiantRuby They call it Eggy Bread.. lol

whoa...awesome!!!! good tip
@akindheart No sweetie, I cut them first, then washed them. You can make them extra thick because boiling will soften them up, also please keep watching them and poke a little to see it's a tad bit tender don't let it over boil. Then get some paper towel and let them dry a bit before frying. I promise you will never use another method again

What kind of potatoes did you use? What kind of oil did you fry them in?
@monte3 I used Russet potatoes, and I used sunflower oil. I used vegetable oil before but it smells bad and the whole house smells. I notice the sunflower oil doesn't smell as bad
