I think I was about 6 yrs old. I asked my mother and she told me to ask my father. He gave me a quick and simple explanation of how it works but I had no idea WTF he was talking about.

My parents bought a set of encyclopedias when I was relatively young. I liked to read so I got myself an education fairly early.
