@waleskinder COOL...thank you!
I know where parrots are wild and fly around not in great numbers - but I would like to catch one to keep.

@MarmeeMarch Take some bread around with you,you may not catch one but after a while you will build a relationship with them :)
@pedrohedgerow good idea thanks

when the weather is going to get bad here.. if you drive out towards the country a bit you'd see this kind of thing ... it's kinda spooky

That's a lot of crows. There are about a dozen ravens living about 3 blocks from here and sometimes they fly over...kind of fun to see them in a tree and chortling around.

@cherokeepatti Hi my friend!The ravens crack me up.When I throw a cocktail sausage for one he will land close,pick it up and start cawing for all his worth as he eats it! ;)

@pedrohedgerow I've seen them at the car lot where I used to work. One would get on a truck side mirror and look at his image and caw and chortle at it, playing like that for 15-20 minutes at a time.

@cherokeepatti They are so much smarterthan they let on Patti,very,very clever birds.

Maybe they think they need to take care of you or are family. Crows get together in large groups 1-2 times a year to be with family and take care of the sick and injured I read once.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@morrgin I started feeding them over 20 years ago,and always,always have bread for them whenever I am out.Things got even better when I started buying them cocktail sausages as well! :)

@pedrohedgerow they will love you forever and probably told other crows about you too. It works the oppisite way as well. A study was done that a person wearing a mask upset a crow. The crow would heckle anyone wearing that mask like up to 16 years later and other crows joined in that were never involved in the first contact. I'm glad you are on their good side.
