Nurses on children’s wards in hospitals. To be able to work with sick children, so heartbreaking, makes them angels in my eyes.

Nursing most definitely...@LyricalOne

scientists, it's difficult hard work and very few people can actually do it well. But it is essential to progress
People who do jobs that seem unrewarding and not glamorous. The little jobs. Like garbage workers. Cashiers. Waitresses. People who deliver mail by hand, walking. People who drive taxis. Dishwashers. All of the people who go to work each day. They are rarely acknowledged. Pizza makers. Corner store owners who work dawn til late. Market people. Farmers. Crafts people. Housekeepers. Maids. Hookers even. Strippers. People considered less than stellar by many. They have to earn money too with clientele who can be unsavory and mean and sometimes abusive and evil. Bakery people. And people who save lives. They may be thanked a bit more than the others I have mentioned. First responders. Paramedics. Firemen. Policemen. Nurses. Doctors. Midwives. Volunteer caregivers. People helping people hold on. Live in their homes. Take them to vital appointments. People who manage shelters for battered women and their children. Soup kitchen people. I know I have omitted many. These people are rarely thanked for the good they do, the long hours they put in. I thank each of them now. Blessings to you.

I don't respect people because of their profession, rather how good they are at what they do. Therefore I respect good and devoted teachers, doctors, any worker who has really skilled hands and is able to do the task really quickly and with great precision. Also, firefighters, talented scientists (natural science) who contributed to great research projects...

Doctors, nurses, caretakers, and teachers 🙂

Blue collar people who keep things working. Like keeping the lights, postal workers and people who work with patients in healthcare. People in retail deserve respect just got tolerating the public.

Most anything that isn't pro sports or Hollywood (i.e. big box entertainment). Most people are just trying to make ends meet.

I respect people who do not earn that much but they'd go out of their way to put extra efforts and make things easier for other people because they love their job.. Even if it's not something that they get paid for.
