@TryingtoLava the only time I got candy is when my mom would bring some home and me and my brother would eat some and then she would eat some and then throw the rest away and when I was in high school my teachers would give us candy

@Echambers101 Just put Samhain into Google, you'll find lots of sites explaining the festival. Here's one - http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/paganism/holydays/samhain.shtml The christians attempted to hijack it like they did Yule, Easter etc.
