If the IRS wants something from you will they call you or come to where to live?

@HoraceGreenley they called you.I thought they only sent letters.I get a call from someone saying they are the irs on a regular basis.I called the irs.They had no business with me.

@Butterflykisses24 First was the letters. Then came the phone calls and lastly the visit to my home.

@Butterflykisses24 It's a long story. But i was the victim of fraud by one of my customers. They reported to the IRS that I was paid, but people there embezzled the money.

It was a state government agency that did this too me. I owed over $60k to the IRS.

@Butterflykisses24 Nope. I paid them back. The IRS kept the money.

@Butterflykisses24 Well in reality it was much more because I kept the business going with personal cash and loans. This episode wiped me out and I lost it all.

@HoraceGreenley can you sue the people who imbezzled.Are they in jail now.This is a nightmare.

@Butterflykisses24 I tried. But attorneys would not take the case because it was a state government agency. Once a lawyer sues the state, the state and the town where the lawyer is located, would never send any business to that law firm.

So any decent lawyer would not sue a government agency.

@Butterflykisses24 It was the most difficult thing I ever faced. Fortunately, it is all behind me now and I am over it.

@Butterflykisses24 thank you. It's true. You have to forgive those that harm you, because revenge is not forthcoming, usually. But it is a very hard thing to do to forgive.

@HoraceGreenley I understand.They will need to answer to a higher power for what they put you through.
