Well that didn't go down as well as I thought it would. It's

It's time Riff made the transition to being an indoor/outdoor cat. So I let her loose in my courtyard, with me guarding one gate and my dad the other.
She shook, cried and tried to make a break for it through my neighbour's fence.
I picked her up and cuddled her, brought her back inside.
Any advice? How to get her to enjoy her outside time and not freak out?

Oh no, I wish had answers I know it seems silly but I've seen some people walking cats on a leash. Maybe it would help Riff get more used to be outside without the ability to bolt

Some cats just can't be outdoor cats.
