What is a frequently asked question you get?

@FrostBorne When my dad first met my 6'5" boyfriend, my friend was slouching on the couch in our living room, with his legs stretched out in front of him. Our living room wasn't small, but once the furniture was in it, it didn't have much floor space for sprawling. Jack, the boyfriend, was beginning to gather himself to get up and shake hands with my dad, but he was a bit shy, because my dad was looking at him from his head to his feet and back again, and dad said
"Well" and that's when Jack finally got to his feet, and dad smiled and said "You do end, but you take a long time doing it". Jack thought he meant that it took too long to get to his feet to show proper courtesy and he apologized. Dad said "Why be sorry? It's not your fault your body goes on and on, forever!"

Then he sat down and so did Jack and Jack still looked kind of disconcerted. Eventually they became good friends, when Jack finally learned to understand dad's quirkiness.

@PoetryNEmotion My dad was weird, but people really enjoyed his company. I think no one could ever feel uncomfortable around him for long. He was just so affable. Loved to gab, which is where I get it, I guess.

@iamnikki Why? I'm proud of him. And what he's accomplished in his short years on this planet. I'm not ashamed of my age either. It took me 74 years to get this old.

@KayraJordyn Oh indeed, it does get sore from time to time. The leg isn't a weight bearing body part, so the point where flesh meets prosthetic can get quite sore, especially since I still run a couple miles most days. The pain aspect doesn't really bother me as much as it used to.
