@dark548 right MLK advocated non violent protests and sit -ins etc// but what I want to know why did he have to tell his ppl not to be violent ?

@MarmeeMarch because for thousands of years that has been the default choice when fighting oppression. Not only in America but in other civilizations as well.

@dark548 Ah - the last resort way then. I don't remember hearing of the Chinese being violent when they were brought here to build the railroads.
