Wouldn't be self-sufficient.
Aliengel · 22-25, M
@Madhatter why? It is bigger than France
Madhatter · 31-35, M
@Aliengel Size is irrelevant. Much of Texas is desert.
AlphaCuckTX · 56-60, M
@Madhatter Perhaps you should visit Texas before you start telling us your vast geographical knowledge. As far as that desert in West Texas goes it doesn't need trees, they would get in the way of the oil wells. Texas is fiscally solvent, has low unemployment, high wages, and very few whiny ass liberal democrats.
Madhatter · 31-35, M
@AlphaCuckTX I live next door. Louisiana. Been to Texas many times. You can't eat oil. Though you are welcome to try.
AlphaCuckTX · 56-60, M
@Madhatter Obviously your many visits have not included the forests, the hill country, the farmlands, the rivers , lakes and the many cattle ranches.
By the way here in Texas we can eat cattle, because Texas has the best steaks, brisket, and barbecue.
Enjoy your over spiced frogs legs.

@AlphaCuckTX Oh, I know. That's why the majority of Texans are overweight. Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Except brains. If Texas seceded, they'd be a nation with no political influence, no standing military, and no federal aid. That means no funding for college tuition, hospitals, research, medicare... No standing treaties, all military bases would be shut down because they belong to the U.S., along with those supplies. No more NASA, no more relief efforts for natural disasters, no more social security... The U.S. likely would not trade with Texas, nor would their allies. All things considered, the only "upsides" to seceding is you could drag blacks and gays from the back of your pick-up trucks again.
AlphaCuckTX · 56-60, M
Sadly, now I understand how limited your intelligence is. The Federal Government needs Texas much more than Texas Needs the Federal Government. Texas is Solvent. The Government doesn't pay for our Highways, the best in the Nation, We don't need NASA, but they need Houston. We also have Space X. They build and test Rockets in Texas. Texas has a standing National Guard that is sworn to Texas before it is sworn to the United States, The United States already trades with Texas and what Texas receives in Federal Aid is far less than most other states. I do have to admit when I think of Louisiana I get a smile on my face because to Texas and the rest of the United States you're all just a bunch of backwards Swamp People thanks to Cable Television.
Madhatter · 31-35, M
@AlphaCuckTX America doesn't trade with Texas, Texas is America. If it weren't, they wouldn't. Look up your own info. Federal taxes pay for most of your state's college tuition. They pay for your police. Texas pays for less than you seem to think. Your national guard is underequipped and severly under trained. Most of then are only there because it's an easy job. First sign of having to fight and more than half would try to resign. Texas ha tried to secede before. Look how that turned out.
AlphaCuckTX · 56-60, M
You are a sadly under-educated little man. When Texas broached the idea of seceding Oklahoma and Arkansas both expressed an interest in joining. Louisiana unfortunately needed help with the big words and couldn't make up their mind. Texas is not America. Texas is and always will be the Republic of Texas, being one of the 50 states is a perk we allow the United states, not the other way around, and yes we do make them pay for the privilege.
Madhatter · 31-35, M
@AlphaCuckTX Wow. You are either incredibly stupid or you are trolling. Maybe both. Texas tried to secede, failed, and now only the least educated and most delusional refuse to accept it.

That's a fact. I'm out of this convo. You can't reason with stupid.
AlphaCuckTX · 56-60, M
@Madhatter I know, I tried, but there was just no reasoning with you.
