Why is it so hard for me to keep a conversation going?😞

A good conversation means both people put in the effort to make it good, means both are interested, means both actually have something to say to one another.

conversation is a two way street. most times its one side trying to keep the other side interest while the other side barely tries. at least that how most of my convos go.

Dunno. Maybe you just need to find the right kind of person who suits your personality.

I think it takes two people to do that so it may not be on your end. 🤷🏽‍♀️ If the conversation feels one sided and like you’re the only one asking the questions then it’s probably not you.

My problem is people want me to do all the speaking and them only give one syllable responses

Maybe you try too hard to come up with what to say. Ask yourself if you really are interested in the person you’re talking to and all the questions and what you want to know about them will instantly flood your mind. Ask yourself if this person is interested in you, therefore you won’t have to feel like working alone in building the conversation only to keep their attention. It’s not a good idea to spend time with someone who doesn’t even put effort in trying to get to know you. You’ll get tired

Same. I just don’t know what to say but there’s a lot going on in my mind. I always end up holding my tongue.
