What kind of nostalgic things take you back to the old days?

I was surprised when i went to help out in a kid's Christmas party..there was this little girl who just arrived in this country..it reminded me when i first came here she doesn't the language like i didn't and stuff like that(U was older then her) gave me the feels that is a really important time for me

laundry hanging on a clothesline, screen doors slamming (in movies), butter churns, smell of fried chicken and yeast bread baking.

oh ya cabbage lots of cabbage and some potatoes.. little vodka sometimes but thats it.. i swear im telling the truth..

Music that I listened to when I was young, certain smells that remind me of things my mom used to cook.

i cant even listen to certain music cause it brings back so many memories
