Every minute you breathe you have a gift that is being taken away from so many others.

Not my quote.

I just went to visit my kids Great Uncle at Hospice
I said I was not going there anymore ,to sit and watch someone die
But I loved him and he was always there to stick up for me
His daughters all told me how much he loves me and thinks of me ,
He has lived 96 years ,and worked like a machine up until the last 2 years after being hit by a tractor trailer on the intestate ,guy on a cell phone instead of driving a rig of that size ,it almost killed him ,guess in a way it did ,it just took longer for him to die ,,not being able to do the things he liked doing ,he has just went down hill from there .
I would trade places with him if I could ,
But he is leaving his family in good shape ,they won't need the rest of their lives ,land for all of them that was paid for with cash .
So I have to admire he lived his life on his terms .and I made him proud .
I sing at his funeral and pay my respects ,the man I love is gone
now they are just waiting for him to stop breathing ...
Its still hard ,,for 22 years he has been my landlord and close friend
hate to let him go ,,I told him to hold a place for me when Christ comes
I'll be there shortly
