I was one of those people who used to think that! It's confusing to me. What's the difference between a country and continent?

@Chickie The continent is the body of land. Europe is the continent, but it has several countries upon it.

@Chickie A country is a region that has a separate geographic territory. Countries are separated geographically, politically and culturally. A continent is just a separation in the geographical boundaries whereas many other factors are involved when it comes to defining countries
