what's creepy about Friday the 13th?

wickey · 70-79, M
I personally have knowledge of the no: 13 being lucky, and Friday is the happiest day of the week for all those who are not self employed.

@wickey Or working an adjusted schedule, or working in a fast food place... *Deep sighing ensues*

Friday the 13th is where Christians are being slaughter by the dark establishment in Rome from Generations. it is actually said that Friday the 13th might be the first sin happen on Earth from Adam and Eve but not exactly sure if its proven

@SW-User Source, please? Was this "slaughter" by the Emperor Diocletian? Also, why would that one particular day be important, considering how many have been martyred throughout history on all days?

@SW-User Okay, I've read the article that you linked me to. It's interesting, certainly, but it doesn't mention any instance of Christian martyrdom in Rome, nor does it mention the Adam and Eve thing beyond an oblique mention of the thoughts of some theologians without providing details.

The Judas and Baldr connections are much more solid. I think that you should have led with those, if this is your source.

The idiots I've encountered on SW today.

Nothing, nothing at all. Even today people get wrongly (unnecessarily) nuts about it.
I work in a hospital ER. 10 years ago they had no exam room #13. When they remodeled, they still skip it!
In some buildings, there is no 13th floor. What's the matter, can't they count?

It was a great day to me

It's a cultural holdover from the date when the power of the Knights of the Temple of Solomon was broken, when their Grandmaster was burnt at the stake as a heretical traitor by the King of France.
