I think deep down everyone wants to be liked. But when we realize that we're not going to be everyones cup of tea and just be ourselves, it makes life a lot easier and more fun!!

Only certain people's.

I could care only a little if they are my direct employer. Others who think they have a say can enjoy that satisfaction of having an opinion. It wouldn't may any difference to my paycheck, or what I do with it.
