Apparently all of us dream, but not all of us remember. Honestly, I don't think all dreams I have are nonsensical. They always blossom from an idea I came across earlier that day whether it be this person, that color, that object, that feeling, or something. They altogether pollinate my dream with different stories that are symbolic of an idea or my state of mind.

Absolutely not. Dreams are the subconscious mind's way of communicating with you. We are only aware of 10% of our brain. The rest is burried deep. To understand yourself and what bothers you, what issues you feel you are facing, dreams are an integral part.

I feel like my dreams let me know when I need to eat specific things, as well, for proper nutrients.

Much more profoundly, lucid dreams--scientifically proven awareness of being in a dream, and potentially controlling it--allow one to *directly* speak to the unconscious mind.

I think it was 1 in 5 people naturally have lucid dreams. Others have to work for it. But, even if you think regular dreams are meaningless, lucid dreams have a profound amount of meaning.

Even just taking control of the dream to fly to the moon, or eat the sun, or transform into an animal, or travel through time, etc etc. Even those are great, transcedental experiences. You can even create mirror images of people who have died to talk to, and maybe work through their death with them. Talk about meaning.

In addition, any physical skills you sharpen in a lucid dream transfer to real life. So, you could practice gymnastics in a dream, then get better at it IRL.

And yes. What you think about right before bed can program your dreams. Your last thought before falling asleep, especially. But, the subconscious can also reassert itself and force you to confront deeper issues, too.

The dream *world* is a place with intense meaning. All one has to do is work towards seeing it and creating it.

No. I have had plenty of deja vu moments. there's a lot of symbolism even if the events aren't real. sometimes you'll find 1 truth in a thousand lies.
