I agree with you, even though I don´t like to be called a liar, because I think women act just like men in this regard. Of course, the outer beauty is important first. No matter whether you are a man or a woman. But if the person has only a beautiful covering but is in the inside only an ugly being, the outward appearance gets totally unimportant. I'm sorry that you feel that way. As a hedonist, I came to the conclusion long ago that flesh is flesh, and that all flesh responds the same. Therefore, since there is no difference in the performance of flesh, it would be far, far better to seek qualities that DO act different and differentiate individuals. See, the human body replaces pretty much every cell on a regular basis. The work is so complete, that in approximately seven years, there isn't a single original cell left. Which means, should I choose to base my desires upon the flesh, I will discover that I am laying next to a completely different person than I was seven years before. This is also one of the reasons for the "seven year itch". Whether you consciously recognize it or not, your body is aware that the person is not the same.

So, you can say that all men are liars, but I think you've stopped short of interviewing us all... otherwise, you would see that your statement is untrue.

Yes - I know someone who always went on in a very mature way about how he valued inner beauty. He never acted or spoke in a way that made me feel beautiful (unlike many other men. Then one day he complained to me he'd never had a hot girlfriend. He felt he 'deserved' one. LOL - I don't think he'll ever find one to match his perception of his own good looks 😝

You are right it definitely isn't everything, in fact outer beauty, or at least physical attraction of some level is critical, although I can't define what it is for me, but ultimately it's nothing without a great personality that you connect with and that shines through the attractive exterior.

I think why people choose outer beauty rather than inner beauty is that we fall for whats on the outside first we don't know what that person is like on the inside till we get to know them but the inner beauty is just as important
