I Was Rejected

Not in the most dramatic sense of the word, thankfully (seriously, who could reject the predatory advances of a bulking, hairy stink bug like me?), but for a job. I've been wanting to change jobs since the day before I started this one, but only recently really started putting any effort into it. The effort consisted of updating the lies on my CV, posting it to job sites, and doing jaw exercises incase I get to a second stage interview with a particularly well endowed employer.

This morning I got an email from a recruitment agent informing me that my application for a role had been rejected amid some very poor feedback. The real shitter is that it wasn't for a job I had applied for, it wasn't a job I remember even seeing, and even if I had it certainly wasn't the sort of job I would have even considered applying for...so it seems that I'm getting kind of pre-rejected from jobs, which is a bit of a kick in the bollocks.

Aw I didn't know this. Or did I? That's so weird. What even was the job for?? You're honestly so funny. I love reading your posts.

I have always loved the way you write! Happy to see that you are back at it.

You received some constructive criticism though. Have another look at your CV and try to see where you went wrong to get that poor feedback.

Maybe you just need to re-do your CV. Please go look up for the CV examples or hints of what kind of CV that would attract more recruiters.

Perhaps someone else got the offer of a free cruise that had been intended for you...
