If your friend is a christian and is dating someone who is a free mason, would you tell her?

She's not aware he is in it, and the relationship is new. The getting - to-know-you- phase.
There is no credible proof that being a mansion conflicts with Christianity..
In fact they draw their inspiration from what I take from it, the masons who built Solomon’s temple, which as a part of Judaism would evenly branch to form Christianity..
@Mandalorian no skin off my back 🤷‍♂️
You’ve invested more time in it than I have
@TheEnlightenedIgnorance

Another false projection from your fragile ego...did it soothe you any?

...do any of them ever really soothe you in the end? 🤣

But, please by all means...keep listening exclusively to your ego...and you really will attain the heights that it tells you you will...won't you? 😄

Oh...and keep listening to the crap about superiority and higher levels they're feeding you back at the lodge...because clearly, it's all true! 🤣😂🤣

And yeah, you deserved that too!

Ooops!🤭

@bijouxbroussard yeah, in my Anglican church there were rumors of a few priets in it and I had a family member like that...But i don't know everything about it.
I'm confused. What does him being a freemason have to do with her religion?
@Ladyofemotions In the U.S. some churches allow their members to be Freemasons, although I know Catholics don’t.

@bijouxbroussard The basic objection in some Christian circles is that Freemasons are required to make vows of a spiritual nature not to Jesus Christ. If you have already vowed to give your life to the discipleship to Jesus, you can't then go and promise someone(thing) else the same thing.

@Ladyofemotions they don't have their own God. They are international and accept all religions and faiths. The only requirement in that area is that you believe in some form of a higher power.

Wow, that is so not my business!

my best advice is not to meddle in other people's business

So on my dad's side of the family they are all freemason, family burial site with the masons, and all the women are part of the female version of masons called the eastern star. They are also all hard-core Christians.
@morrgin Yes, that’s what I’ve seen. There were none that I knew of in my church—but there were members of groups like Knights of Columbus, Knights of Peter Claver (my father and brother are members). But I knew of lots of Freemasons in other Christian churches. Some were deacons.

@bijouxbroussard Thanks. Turns out she knew and is fine. She laughed when i told her but thanked me. And irnonically enough, so was my grandfather.
LadyJ · F
Yes i would tell her..ive heard some free masons are satanists so she needs to know
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@LadyJ Thanks
I hate to tell you this but many Christians are Freemasons; probably the majority of Masons in the US are Christian.
As much as I admire @LadyJ, she is absolutely off the wall on masons being satanists.
I'd be happy to discuss this further in private chat if you wish.
morrgin · F
Free-masons are not that big of a deal unless you are into conspiracy theories
The Illuminati will decide
morrgin · F
@NightsWatch wish I could double heart that answer
saintsong · 41-45, F
Yes tell her or he could bring up curses upon her
Yes, but the decision is hers to make..
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Many Christians are freemasons but tell her if you think that she would find it important.
Be careful womcan turn on you if you scrutinize their man and offer criticism.
I tend to keep my mouth shut unless its very major like cheating or life threatening
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@lynncelestial A guy asked a similar question about catty female behavior on here recently and everyone was respectful and some agreed with him. Do you think I am wrong in my opinion?
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@REMsleep hii. As it turns out, she knew and is ok with it.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@Ladyofemotions Ok great! No harm no foul
BalmyNites · F
You clearly have no clue of Freemasonry
BalmyNites · F
@Ladyofemotions Your views & those who you speak of, are both inaccurate & ignorant
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@BalmyNites ooookay then. Thanks for your opinion.
BalmyNites · F
@Ladyofemotions My opinion is based on fact & you’re most welcome

The Free Masons I've known claimed to be Christian. Seems copacetic.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
I don’t think the free masons are necessarily non religious.
Let them get to know each other ...
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters that's what I'm here prondering about
ammelee · F
yes but does it matter?
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@ammelee i know it would to the peraon dating him. I know her personality and what she doesn't allow
Why would that be a problem ?
Ladyofemotions · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard the person dating him doesn't support it. I've knpwn her for years..
@Ladyofemotions In that case, if you know she’d have a problem with it, of course you should tell her. Why wouldn’t you, if you know for certain he is ?
