There are physiological reasons behind cravings too.
I'm allergic to milk proteins but I crave them. I'm told it is because of my allergy to them, the proteins work on the same brain receptors as opiates. So it is a physical craving and not 'because I like it'. Where as my deep love of kitkats may be because I have no self control.
