I Am Nervous

My parents are asking non stop about why I'm depressed and I'm afraid because they are 100% christians that they won't accept me as being MtF Transgender. What should I do? I'm nearly in tears just thinking of what might happen. They say they will always love me and accept me as me but it's not really reassuring to me. I need help.

My suggestion would maybe be to start out by saying you are depressed and ask to go to therapy. Hopefully the therapist would be able to work you through the situation and give you good advice and pointers... maybe even be a mediator between you and your parents.

@ComfortablyNumb: I did come out as depressed and I'm going to my first therapist session this Friday but they keep asking questions and I keep ignoring. They said "you trust a stranger more than us?" "Are we not that good if parents that you can't trust us?" That made me feel like crying. I said that they were the best parents.
