I Am Nervous
I went back to the dr yesterday for a post-surgery follow-up. They couldn't do the major part of the surgery because of a complication. Ironically, had they been able to do the whole thing, they would not have done the testing that found a condition I have, which is pre-cancerous.
Though I only have 5% chance of this becoming cancer, the best course of action is another surgery to remove some parts and eliminate the problem.
I'm aiming for 6 weeks out. I'll be out of work for 4-6 weeks. Stupidly, I feel bad because the timing couldn't be worse for work. But I gotta do what I gotta do. Health comes first. Work will survive somehow.
Grateful that it ended up this way and the problem was identified once and for all and I'll meet my deductible even sooner this year. But yes, I'm a little nervous.
