I Have Synesthesia

I found out like two days ago that I (almost but not entirely certain) have ticker tape synesthesia. That means that I see the words in my head when I speak, hear someone speak or think vocally. If anyone is interested in chatting about synesthesia, leave a comment I guess!

I have a form of synesthesia, too. I associate numbers with colors.

@SW-User Cool! I do that a little, but I’m not really sure if it’s synesthesia or just something I trained myself to do. Like 2 has always been Gras green and 3 has always been dark blue, but the others are a little hazy. So yeah.
Do numbers with multiple digits have their own colors for use, or does each digit just have its color? I’ve heard several different accounts and I find it really interesting.

@ElleInAutumn It’s usually a range. Like 60s are grey, 80s are navy. Some numbers have a certain theme in my mind. For example 14, 15, 16 have a football stadium as a background.

@SW-User Oh wow that’s really interesting. One more question: do you like actually see the colors when you look at the numbers on a page, or do the numbers just have the colors in you mind?
