I Like Darkness

Did anyone tell her not to walk alone when the sun is gone?
Surely someone would have told her of all of the dangers of the night.
And without danger, even, wouldn't that be a bad image for people's gossip?
She shouldn't be out here.
Yet despite the risk.....she chases me.
She seeks me.
She will devour me.
Is there no place left to hide?
