I Like Cute Dresses

My daddy bought me this dress in August as a present for passing my exams 😌 It is not to everyone's taste, but I am interested in 1950s fashion and this suits me fine. There is a school disco tonight so I will wear it in public for the first time 🙂

I do love the dress! It would be fun to wear out to a dance party. Petty coats under it would be fun as well! I do see it more of a modern exaggerated version of a fifties dance fashion. Not something that was worn on the street but perhaps in a movie.

I was born in 55. So I only got to watch most of its impressions during the sixties. But I loved them.
