I Am Fascinated By Technology

How the Civilization is shaped by advances in technology is something that really interests me.
I'm at a point of life where I've enough general idea about how things work. Enough to fit in my head at least. Now I'm looking for people and experiences which get me into depth and hands on experience.
My friends at present have played their role in my lives as far as my growth is concerned. Now I need people with whom I can have technical geeky discussions while having something to look forward it.
How this may manifest in my life is yet to be seen....
