In long-term relationships, when the lust stage has left, then how do each get along. In most cases each will trigger the others insecure button.
We all get triggered by current events that are similar to old unhealed situations. That saying "are you upset for the reason that you think that you are." We do relive old hurts, similar triggers, by those we love, more by family. .....
That is why you build up your worth of self, your self worth is an anchor that you give you. Then no matter the shity people you come across, they won't upset your inner stable being.
You are your own happiness in life. (People can ADD to us, they can't fill an empty, needy person.)

@HootyTheNightOwl nope and nope.. she just trying to advice me or warn me once i wanted to go with that kind of path..
@willow Some marriages are unhappy and or abusive - but it's not right or fair that she should say that and attempt to put you off marriage for any reason.
