I Want to Find My Passion

Whats your passion? I have been asked this question and I had no answer...How do you find your passion? whats the ultimate solution in finding your passion? .....(thinking).....

I've been through this .. I tried so many things and thought about what could be my passion .. I felt that when I do something and it makes me alive while doing it and afterwards, that's true passion .. When you feel lost in something, and you lose track of time and space .. when you feel like something is missing when ou're not doing it, that's passion .. I'm passionate about Arts mainly books/Writing/Painting if I'm doing one of these I feel alive and like I'm breathing .. I'm certainly not passionate about my job because I always ask myself "why am I still here?"

@Room66: Be always gives awesome advice here. She didn't necessarily mean art is your passion, but gave you ways to help find your true passion.

i think it is fair to say that your passion finds you - and you will know it when it comes. my passion is success, i have always know this from early age.

but i also believe it must be possible to live a totally satisfactory life without a huge passion and it would be a shame to be frustrated at not having a passion, when there are so many other things you could enjoy in your life

🤔 hmmm. Maybe your passion is finding different passions, and before you know it, you have lived through so much, and with so little regret. 🤔

Are you thinking about work (i.e. doing what you are passionate about)? If so, I'd recommend the book 'so good they can't ignore you' where the argument is put that you should pursue what you are good at (i.e. have some talents) and that your passion will develop from there. Particularly when you are good enough that you can negotiate your own work & conditions.

If you are talking general. Then getting a good understanding of different things may help you find your passion.

I have also been asked this question before, what my passion in life is, and I didn't have a clear answer to it either. I think for a lot of us it takes a long time to figure out what we want to do and make out of our lives.

are you still trying to figure it out?

How long did it take you to figure it out? and how do you know its the real thing? not just a phase? @smc3000:
